Instructions

  1. Secure the Microplane Mason Jar Lid Grater with the Fine blade onto a wide-mouth canning jar. Use this to grate your garlic and nutmeg. Replace the Fine blade with the Ribbon blade to grate the ginger.
  2. Whisk together soy sauce, olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, and lemon juice in a bowl to form the base of your marinade.
  3. Use the Mason Jar Lid Grater to grate the garlic cloves and nutmeg directly into the marinade mixture.
  4. Add grated ginger, black pepper, honey, and chopped rosemary to the mixture and combine well.
  5. Place the steak in a shallow dish or zip-top bag and pour the marinade over it, ensuring it's well-coated. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  6. Remove the steak from the fridge 30 minutes before cooking to bring it to room temperature. Grill or pan-sear to your desired doneness.
  7. Let the steak rest for a few minutes before slicing to allow the juices to redistribute.
  8. Serve the steak with your dad's favorite sides and enjoy.
